Your impact
The Marketing Specialist supports the marketing communications strategy for Jacobs’ cities and places, federal and defence, and data centre businesses in the Asia Pacific. This is a hands-on role focused on executing strategic content and activities that strengthen Jacobs’ brand, engage our target audience and drive business growth in key areas. The ideal candidate combines strong writing and storytelling skills with confidence in engaging and managing diverse internal stakeholders in a fast-paced, matrixed environment.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign and content delivery: Help execute relevant industry marketing plans, including core campaigns. Write, edit and curate engaging, high-quality content across multiple formats, including press releases, news articles, case studies, thought leadership, videos, advertising and social media content.
Content Distribution: Work collaboratively with digital and social marketing teams to ensure content is distributed across relevant platforms and channels, including our website, social media, newsletters. Liaise with third-party publications to distribute content across broader industry channels.
Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to capture information and insights and develop compelling narratives that highlight Jacobs’ people, projects and areas of expertise.
Reporting and Tracking: Track content and campaign performance and report on engagement and outcomes. Prepare regular updates on content consumption and campaign progress and performance, recommending improvements.
Stakeholder Engagement and Storytelling
Work with key stakeholders to capture insights and develop compelling narratives that highlight Jacobs’ innovation, people and delivery excellence. Conduct interviews and draft leader profiles, case studies and proof materials that bring the Program Management story to life.
Project Coordination and Support: Support the Senior Market & Communications Manager in managing multiple project timelines and deadlines and contributing to ongoing marketing projects as required to ensure seamless project execution; where relevant, “own” such projects.
Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities to assist in strategic planning, goal setting, and results tracking.
Brand Voice and Consistency: Ensure content adheres to our brand guidelines, maintaining a consistent brand voice and style across all channels that is aligned to our marketing strategy.

Here’s what you’ll need
Skills and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or relevant field of study.
At least three to five years of similar experience.
Excellent writing, editing, proofreading and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail, creativity and Associated Press writing style.
Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently.
Proven ability to work collaboratively with different stakeholders and cross-functional teams to drive projects to completion.
Results-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and achieving measurable outcomes.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with enterprise AI tools for marketing purposes.
Ideally you would also have:
Previous experience working in a similar role within professional services (engineering, property or infrastructure) or consulting.
Experience planning, implementing and evaluating marketing campaigns.
