Except IT, all other sectoral indices ended in the green with PSU Bank up 3.6%, Nifty Bank up 2%, Private Bank index up 1.6% and Realty index up 1.6%. The Nifty midcap index rose 1.3 percent and smallcap index added 1.7 percent.
